Well, this is my first attempt at blogging. I am one of those people whom feels I have a ton on my mind that I would like to talk about.  However, I do not know where to start.  Yet, have you ever wanted to have a good conversation with others of a like mind.  A place where you can exchange thoughts, have friendly debates and express thoughts of you own.  So, this is what has brought me to this point.

As an introduction, I am a 38 year old single man.  The most important thing in my life is my son, whom is about to turn 16. Yes, the whole driving thing does scare the hell out of me.  If it was not the fact that he lived over an hour away with his mother, I would be more resistant.  The fact that it is going to save me the drive is a positive factor for me.  Is that selfish???  I work for a state entity. I am a veteran of the U.S. Army.  I often think of the state of our world today.  I am very liberal in my personal thoughts and conservative in my political thoughts.  I have had the opportunity to travel throughout the world and feel that has broadened my views of the world.  Please feel free to offer up topics of conversation.  I look forward to the interaction & hope you enjoy this...
